Big Island Vow Renewal Ceremony
Celebrate love on the stunning Kona Coast of Hawaii, the Big Island, reciting your vows in paradise!
A very special group vow renewal ceremony is held held every Wednesday morning at 9 am, oceanside at Keauhou Beach Resort. This non-denominational ceremony is conducted by a Hawaiian officiant who begins by welcoming couples with a traditional Hawaiian chant. Couples then gather at the ocean's edge to be honored with heartwarming stories from the rich heritage of Keauhou and Kahalu`u, the historic location that surrounds Keauhou Beach Resort. Couples are blessed with a gentle sprinkling of sea water before reciting vows in the Hawaiian language. The ceremony concludes with a chant to complete the joyful event. Following the ceremony, each couple is presented with a certificate to commemorate the special occasion.
Valentine's Day 2012: Valentine's Day falls on Tuesday, February 14. The vow renewal ceremony will be held on Valentine's Day instead of Wednesday of that week. Share in a celebration of love!
