King's Trail Petroglyph Walking Tour

Also known as the Mamalahoa Trail, this walk along a lava rock path reveals ancient petroglyph carvings. The trail was built in the mid-1800s for transporting food and essential commodities from the sea coast to upland communities.
The free guided tour begins at 10:30 am daily at the King's Shops at Waikoloa Beach Resort.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the resort-style Beach Course is literally carved through the magnificent lava flows
along scenic Anaehoomalu Bay. The par-70 Beach Course features numerous sand bunkers, water features and the
most spectacular oceanfront par-five in Hawaiionthe 502-yard, 12th hole. From this hole golfers can see vistas of
neighboring Hawaiian Islands, and in winter, whales breaching offshore.

Waikoloa Resort Kings' Course

The 7,064-yard, 18-hole Waikoloa Resort Kings' Course has a Scottish links-style layout with pot bunkers, undulating fairways, multiple tee placements and lava outcroppings. Designed by former British Open champion, Tom Weiskopf, and Jay Morrish, the par-72 Kings' Course was rated one of the top two new resort courses in America by Golf Digest magazine.
